I'm a new graduate registered nurse with 600+ hours of high-involvement, patient-focused clinical experiences in a variety of settings. I strive to provide compassionate and innovative care to patients.An essential part of nursing is providing excellent customer service to clients at the hospital, and my skills derived from my background in hospitality would translate well to a position as a nurse. I thrive in active, fast-paced, and dynamic work environments. My current job as a manager has taught me to uphold high-performance standards for my team and myself. Because I was an Inter-Professional Education Scholar, I received specialized training in the perioperative setting. Training included the completion of an elective perioperative course, as well as extracurricular participation in operating room simulation labs and seminars. I completed my role transition in an ambulatory surgery setting and had the pleasure of observing a handful of surgeries.I have two bachelors degrees, both in the sciences. My educational background and experience as a research assistant have allowed me to develop critical thinking and interviewing skills. I value bringing up-to-date evidenced-based care to all my patients.
