I am a graduate of Chaminade University of Honolulu with a B.S. Degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology. With both athletic and academic scholarships, I maximized my college experience playing organized soccer and participating in health-related service projects that strengthened my ability to connect with others in and out of the medical community. I am also a passionate advocate for diabetes patients and treatments. For the last six years, I have served as a volunteer at Camp STIX in Cusick, WA, accumulating >645 volunteer hours for a medically-monitored Type I diabetes summer camp.With a deep personal connection to healthcare, I have a strong understanding of cell functions and awareness of bioethical issues to positively influence the application of science to service, justice, and peace in the solution of societal problems. Along with a resilient attitude and work ethic, I have been academically and professionally trained to:…statistically evaluate, validate, and interpret scientific data and communicate results effectively both orally and in writing.…acquire, summarize, and synthesize information from published scientific literature, databases and bioinformatics software to extract and interpret biological data.…recognize chemical/physical principles and the biological organization at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, organism, and system levels.…evaluate the etiology of major human disease burden in terms of pathophysiological mechanisms, epidemiology within populations, and possible therapeutic approaches.I also demonstrated a talent for teamwork, customer service, and communication as a member of a diagnostic laboratory team. The goal now is to leverage all of that experience into a career that helps patients improve their quality of life while having a direct impact on the execution of your brand’s growth strategy.

  In this role I perform defined preparatory portions of laboratory procedures under the direction of licensed personnel, including administrative, accessioning, processing, testing, instrument maintenance.Put in extra hours to ensure receipt, processing, and planting of specimens for next-day shift testing, enabling patients to receive test results on time. Manually accessioned and processed specimens for an entire shift during WASPLab® system crash; maintained schedule and 100% accountability despite heavy volume. Created temporary labels and updated them upon system restoration.
