After working with employers for the past 3 years and having a passion for all things business and employability, I decided to take a career change and become student-facing, working with young people to develop skills for life.My current role as an employability coach involves offering tailored support through 1-1 and workshop sessions to Cambria learners to help develop their employability skills, preparing them to enter the world of work. I offer sessions on CV Writing, Interview Prep, Job Searching, Work Experience and Apprenticeships and have also introduced a new session on Confidence Building to help break down some of the barriers that are in place for the young people of this generation. My role is all about coaching and inspiring the learners to feel prepared to enter the workplace, giving them the tools they need for life after Cambria.How can companies/organisations get involved?Employers can get involved with our Job Shop by attending one of our 'Meet the Employer' events that are hosted throughout the year, allowing you to meet with our learners face-to-face and develop your workforce.
