- Leading MSF’s strategic communications to support advocacy, media and fundraising efforts at international, national and local levels, from the field, during outbreaks of wars, natural disasters, incidents of mass displacements and epidemics in countries worldwide.- Production of a broad range of written and audiovisual content for traditional and online media as well as for MSF’s own channels in a variety of languages- Management of internal communications surrounding emerging issues (including security incidents, project closures and HR crises) in MSF’s countries of operation- Recruitment, technical management and HR management of local communications teams - Provision of strategic advice to senior management (including the production of talking points and briefing documents as well as running media training)

- Management of special projects to highlight the situation faced by refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants during the European migration crisis. This included high profile communications around MSF’s search and rescue operations, the rejection of EU funds, and the production of various advocacy reports, opinion editorials, press releases and patient/refugee stories, videos etc- Community management and strategy design of the @MSF_Sea Twitter account which became a key media relations tool and garnered well over 50,000 followers in less than two years

- Strategic communication for the launch of MSF’s search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea as well as the 2014-2015 Ebola outbreak in West Africa- Developing internal and external communications strategies, including global positioning, key messages and resources- Working with in-house and commissioned photographers, videographers, video editors and graphic designers to produce content for MSF’s channels- Strategy and launch of the @MSF_Sea twitter account, MSF’s first account to report live on MSF activities- Training and briefing of MSF spokespeople on migration issues- Liaison with other organizations working on migration in order to consolidate messaging and resources for key days and events
