Solving engineering challenges to meet engine delivery commitments and ship engines

Completed the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), a 3 year rotational program for GE Aviation. While on program I completed a masters in Mechanical Engineering through the Advanced Course in Engeering (ACE) Curriculum at GE and The Ohio State University. First rotation: Hardware design engineer for the GEnx High Pressure Compressor working redesign, cost reduction, and field fix projects related to various parts of the compressor including, but not limited to, airfoils, blisks, wear guides and seal wires. Second rotation: Customer Technical Programs Engineer for the CFM56 fleet working projects to improve turn around time and reduce cost for engine shop visits, root cause investigations, implement new engine cleaning technologies, and make the engineering project management process effective and digital.Third Rotation: Engineer in the Digital team focused on finding, stitching together, and analyzing data to find opportunities for better business practices. Once an opportunity was identified, we strategize, pilot, and iterate on a solution or improvement plan. Involvement within GE:- Volunteer with GE Girls- Early Career Professional Organization (ECPO) Board: Employee Engagement Co-Chair- EEDP Committee Co-Chair- Services Engineering EEDP Engagement Committee- Volunteer/Mentor at Aiken New Tech High School

In charge of designing and implementing programs, both immediate action programs and long-term strategic programs, to improve the retention rate of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) majors within first year students in the College of Science and College of Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Hired and oversaw the 50+ members of the Student Ambassador ProgramCo-authored a handbook for incoming STEM intents (i.e., students intending to pursue a STEM degree)

Responsible for relationships with strategic suppliers and drove down defects through root cause analysis and tracked fulfillment. Created a Supplier Development Plan template to be leveraged among all Mechanical High Level Assembly suppliers in order to increase business to strategic suppliers and supplier visibility within GEPrepared and co-negotiated a contract with a supplier

Worked in the Product Engineering Center with the design engineers on High Pressure Turbine blades for the CFM56 engine.
