I am a recent First Class Honours graduate from Queens University, with a degree in Chemical Engineering, specializing in biochemical engineering. I have experience as a junior process engineer from a summer internship with IKO, a shingles and roofing products manufacturing company. In this role I was responsible for creating and updating PFDs and P&IDs for various plants across North America and updating related documentation. From the many lab and design courses at Queen’s I learned to solve open-ended chemical process design problems and gained skills in process hazard analysis, process and cost simulation, project management, collaboration, communication, and professional writing.I am passionate about bio-technology, environmental issues, and engineering in a sustainable way, taking many classes on the subject. I also am interested in creating a positive work environment, taking courses in workplace wellness and organizational behaviour. I am eager to put my experience to work in new environments and face new challenges from which I can grow my knowledge and skills.
