I have most recently been hired as an IT Support Specialist for Ally Communications! With the support of Ally, I am studying to earn the CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications. I am also gaining knowledge in several areas, including ticketing and monitoring systems, configuration and installation of network equipment, troubleshooting of said equipment, system design, and project coordination. I am so glad to have found such a wonderful team that is so supportive of me and my career goals.I began my IT studies in Merit America’s rigorous program, where I earned my Google IT Support Certificate. Some skills obtained with this certificate include: technical support & troubleshooting, Operating System and software installation & configuration, networking, and cloud computing. I also have extensive experience with various Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications. My undergraduate education was in Sociology, which I chose because I not only want to offer insight into issues, but solutions that would benefit those affected. My passion for learning serves me well in the field of technology, as it is always changing and expanding. As technology influences just about every aspect of our lives, my knowledge is something I can use to help not only clients, but just about anyone!While I was in college, I worked in retail where my most important role was providing premier customer service by using skills in effective communication, time management, and problem solving. These are skills that I put to use every day in my role as an IT Support Specialist.
