As a final year Bachelor of Biomedical Science student with a minor in French studies, my studies have provided me with skills and knowledge including teamwork, critical thinking, and good laboratory practice. Monash has also afforded me the chance to mentor first-year students, study for two weeks in Prato, Italy under the Global Immersion Guarantee in 2023, and be the Sponsorship and Publications Officer for the Monash Biomed Society, which has also honed my communication and organisational skills, necessary for effective leadership. In addition to this, my role as a Pharmacy Assistant has also cultivated customer service and problem-solving skills.With these diverse experiences and skills, and my knowledge of biomedical sciences from my studies, I hope to pursue a career in the medical field upon completing my undergraduate degree, where I will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients, their experience, and their outcomes.
