08/21 - MVP Rookie of The Month

Within the BDA role, my core responsibility was supporting the outbound Business Development sales teams by assisting them through strategic prospecting efforts and extensive account research. I consistently made a tangible impact on the Business Development Organization by contributing to the generation of millions of dollars of new business pipeline each year. Additionally, I participated in an intensive sales training program that has been built specifically to provide new professionals with the fundamentals skills necessary to achieve a successful sales career at Salesforce.

As a Sales Apprentice I supported the GB Southeast commercial team. My main responsibilities were to assist my team for internal and external meetings. I also collaborated with multiple internal teams to create engaging events including team events, volunteer opportunities, and organizing regional kickoff. During my time as a sales apprentice I was able to increase my Salesforce product knowledge and business acumen through Salesforce Trailhead, team shadowing, and meeting participation.

As an Account Specialist, my core responsibilities were to initiate, manage, and execute system set-up for new clients/accounts. I was able to successfully build and maintain relationships with my clients that led me to be able to take on new challenges. One of these new challenges included developing a project plan with timelines that I effectively communicated to my direct manger and team members. This project focused on developing a structured plan for our work queue in order to save time and be more efficient.

As a Marketing Intern, my main focus was building a strong relationship with our partners and assist with new product launches. I was able to build strong relationships with Lowes & Home Depot by enhancing our digital connectivity for their websites. I streamlined and tailored marketing copy and bullet points for over 300+ consumer products for their websites. During my time here I was apart of the new product launch team. My focus in this team was to gain insight on the strategic market entry and develop cost efficient strategies to lower production costs. I did so by devising multiple competitive marketing analyses for new products entering the market and presenting my discoveries to my direct managers. These findings led to cost savings and a clear go to market plan. With a plan in action, I was able to collaborate in designing the labels for the product and shelf ware. It was super exciting to be apart of a new product launch and learn how much thought goes into every single step. My favorite part of the process is now being able to walk into any Home Depot and see all of my hard work on display.

As an Athletic Marketing Intern, my main focus was to drive attendance and awareness for our collegiate level sports team events. I developed and coordinated marketing and promotional efforts for our football, baseball, basketball, and soccer teams. I also implemented marketing strategies and game day promotional activities for various sports. One of the promotional activities I worked on was designing advertisement for print and electronic media for our special events.

As a Sales and Guest Service Intern, my core responsibilities were to understand my customers needs and interests so that I could find a solution that fit their specific needs. I was able to consistently reach and exceeded my personal sales goals and received recognition as both Employee of the Month and Top Sales Performer. Because of my success in the role I was selected as one of five employees to participate in our Salesforce implementation team. Being apart of this implementation team taught me the struggles of technology adoption and how to overcome them. I was able to help customize a CRM that fit our specific needs and learn the ins and out of Salesforce.

As a Marketing Intern, my core responsibilities was to collaborate with the ballpark buyers on where to place merchandise inside the store and ensure customers were having a memorable experience. During my time I was able to shadow the Retail Ballpark Manager to learn how to monitor and analyze sales as well as how to properly manage the staff. I also constructed a business review using the software Tableau and presented it in staff meetings.
