The Alderley Arms Hotel offers quality food, beverages and entertainment and is a 15-minute drive north of Brisbane’s CBD. I am chiefly responsible for providing exceptional customer service through welcoming guests, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring bar areas are clean and well-stocked.Additional Responsibilities Collaborating and coordinating with team members to ensure a hospitable environment while maintaining efficient workflows. Maintaining the safety, hygiene and presentation standards of stock, equipment and the bar area overall. Driving and maintaining compliance with all Local, State and Federal Government COVID-19 regulations and protocols including checking-in, social distancing and the wearing of masks.

So Brave is Australia’s only young women’s breast cancer charity and supports investment into research for young women with breast cancer. I was assigned planning and coordination duties associated with upcoming So Brave events. I am particularly proud of successfully launching the So Brave National Calendar and coordinating the Pop-Up Art Gallery as part of the 2021 Breast Cancer Awareness Month.Additional Responsibilities Collaborating closely with clients to identify and clarify requirements and develop tailored event strategies. Building and maintaining effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including So Brave team members, vendors and sponsors.

The North Gregory Hotel is an Australian outback icon that serves quality food and beverages and has a storied past, hosting the first public performance of Waltzing Matilda in 1895 and hosting meetings that led to the establishment of Qantas in the 1920s. I was primarily responsible for managing a range of functions ensuring a consistently hospitable environment for guests. Some highlights associated with this role included being promoted to the role of Operations Manager, and submitting a successful application for a Live Music Australia Grant aimed at revitalising local cultures and communities in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.Additional Responsibilities Managing inventories by placing regular orders and consulting with hospitality industry representatives to negotiate products and prices. Managing team members, fostering a collaborative environment and delegating responsibilities to maximise efficiency and minimise costs. Recruiting team members, identifying, interviewing, and onboarding talent whilst managing ongoing training. Rostering team members, adjusting staffing levels in accordance with fluctuating demand. Supervising gaming conduct for TAB, Keno and poker machines.

The Balamara Bakery is a locally owned business that produces and serves quality food and beverages that are highly regarded locally. I was primarily responsible for providing an excellent quality of service by taking orders and delivering food by customer specifications. Ensuring display cases are fully stocked and well presented. Preparing and handling food in accordance with health and safety regulations and guidelines. Maintaining a hygienic work environment, cleaning floors, disinfecting surfaces and washing dishes throughout shifts.
