Provide small group tutoring sessions for approved courses either virtually or in-personBe present and punctual for all tutoring sessionsRegularly check Rowan email for Starfish notifications and Tutoring Services correspondencesAttend tutor training sessionsComplete time log for each tutoring sessionComplete and submit payroll time sheets by posted deadlinesComplete tutoring outcomes in Starfish/RSN for each student immediately after tutoring sessionAssess areas for development and make constructive suggestionsAssist students in developing strategies for learning course contentDevelop strong communication skills (listening and questioning)Demonstrate patience, encouragement, and competenceNotify the Tutoring Coordinator of any questions, concerns, changes in availability, etc.If tutor needs to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours of notice, he/she must officially cancel in Starfish/RSN AND notify the Tutoring Coordinator so the affected students can be accommodated with a different tutorFollow all Tutoring Services and Rowan University policies and conduct oneself in accordance with the University’s values and expectations

Understand layout of the floor to help customers find products;Organize cases of alcohol for stock check-ins;Organizing PO’s, Orders, Special Product Requests;Set prices for new products to enter the products into the shop’s POS;Clean and organize shelves, line up products with respective tags;Maintain cleanliness of the check out counters and equipment;Maintain balanced transactions and fix POS pricing discrepancies;Maintain a positive customer experience

● Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; acts immediately & appropriately to secure safety of patronsin the event of emergency● Plan and supervise aquatic activities and safety drills● Assist in testing and classifying the swimming abilities of the campers● Instructs all levels (1-7) of Water Safety and Swimming Techniques as stated by the Red Cross○ Basic (1-2): comfort in water and while floating; basic swimming and safety skills○ Intermediate (3-5): correcting basic swim stroke, technical skills and proper breathing; comfort under water;well-versed knowledge of basic safety skills○ Advanced (6-7): perfecting of swim strokes, breathing, and technical skills; learning advanced strokes with basiccompetence; advanced safety skills in preparation for lifeguard certification● Provides emergency care & treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services● Maintains documentation for tracking campers’ swimming progress through the summer to meet the goals of each classlevel● Updates proper documentation and procedure pertaining to the pool’s maintenance and safety● Satisfy complaints or concerns of the campers and their parents/guardians
