Over school breaks I had the opportunity as a financial assistant at Blend in Boston, MA. I worked full time in the office by completing tasks such as processing invoices, taking inventory, updating year end financial records, and overseeing different client accounts. I was also able to see the inner workings of the restaurant side of this establishment and how operations, hospitality, and customer service work in unison.

I worked at the Snack Bar for 10 hours a week to service ~30 customers per hour during games and free skating by preparing food orders and handling ~$1,000 in revenue per shift. While working the snack bar I also got to help customers rent skates by assisting with fittings to ensure that they would have a safe and fun time at the rink with the right equipment. This experience strengthened my customer service and multitasking skill sets to be able to help a large variety of people in a short amount of time enjoy an experience together.
