People are complex and the world is full of them. Pretty much everyone works with people, and our customers or audiences are made up of people. Naturally, complex people puzzles are everywhere. Solving people puzzles is something I enjoy and get really engaged in doing. This goes for the frustrating ones, too, because I find when I get to the solution at the end, being able to help people achieve their desired outcomes is inherently rewarding. My penchant for solving puzzles has helped me find organizations and teams where I can really bring value and enjoy it. That joy keeps me engaged and growing, which has positive results for everyone. It makes sense that in recent years, I have been given feedback that I possess some key strengths which align with my interest in solving complex puzzles. For example, I have been told I can “see around corners” and have a way to contemplate what could be next, or could affect our work before others do. Likewise, I can anticipate people’s needs and questions, sometimes before they even know what they need. I have been told I am adept at fostering teamwork between groups who often compete and have counterintuitive goals, and can help the group find consensus. Similarly, I have been given feedback I am able to positively influence partners and inspire action even from people I do not have authority over. Recently, a product owner said that if I said I was going to do something, he trusted me to deliver above expectations, and likely early. I have often found myself a hub for information within a team, and can help keep us organized and motivated to accomplish work. All while driving to the goals and KPIs we have set. All of these skills are just a part of what helps me better solve people puzzles.Strengths Finder: -->2022 Assessment: Strategic, Ideation, Learner, Individualization and Input-->2013 Assessment: Restorative, Communication, Strategic, Individualization, and InputMyers-Briggs Type: ENTJ - Rational
