Design and development experience as a project engineer in the Power division. Responsible for civil site plan design for nuclear power plants. Design tasks include basin layout; hydrologic analysis and reports; soil erosion and sediment control. In addition, completed necessary training in specific nuclear design policies required for site design and calculations. [During my employment with CB&I, I engaged in eleven volunteer water-development projects in low-resource countries.]Hydromissions: Volunteer Project Manager, Worldwide Two -to- eight week long volunteer water and sanitation construction projects worldwide. Hydromissions is a non-profit organization that develops low-tech equipment to reach terrain where more traditional larger drilling equipment is not transportable and/or is cost-prohibitive. Responsible for: managing team, project logistics, corresponding with government officials, transporting the equipment; drilling; building a pump; and teaching locals how to operate the equipment. Engineering Ministries International (EMI): Volunteer Engineer, Carrefour, HaitiResidential housing design project to provide permanent housing for families displaced by the 2010 Port-au-Prince earthquake. EMI is a non-profit organization that mobilizes teams of design professionals to donate their skills to develop plans (residential, hospitals, orphanages, etc) to serve needs in developing countries. Responsible for: soil testing, site drainage, water distribution and sanitation design. Operation Jabez: Volunteer Project Manager, San Antonio, GuatemalaLead a group of approximately 20 local community workers in developing a clean water/sanitation system in San Antonio, Guatemala. Responsible for corresponding with government officials, researching existing local projects, site design of drainage system, construction of drainage system, design and construction of solar composting latrines, showers, pilas and water distribution system.

Served as a Land Development Project Engineer. Responsible for preparing design plans and reports for proposed residential and commercial development. Tasks included preparation of cost estimates; design of storm water basins and preparation of reports based on state, county and township requirements; design of on-site drainage systems; designed sanitary sewer systems; designed water distribution systems; designed roads; prepared applications for consideration by municipal and state review agencies.

Served as a junior-level engineer under a Professional Engineer in the ConstructionDivision. Responsible for reviewing and implementing the plans for the United StatesAvenue Replacement Bridge Project in Lindenwold, NJ. Tasks included onsite inspectionof construction; preparing reports; design revision; communication between designers,contractors and material inspectors to ensure proper construction of the bridge.
