I am a first-generation undergraduate student in my fourth year at Lehigh University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism. I am passionate about journalism and using it as a storytelling tool to discuss today's political climate. Serving as the Deputy News Editor for Lehigh's student-run newspaper, the Brown and White, I help oversee the production and quality of the news section. This role entails editing articles, managing reporters, writing social media posts, and finalizing print and web content. I have worked as a news reporter for this publication since my second semester at Lehigh in 2022 and as an editor since 2023. I previously served as a Press Intern for a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization known as the Partnership for Public Service, whose mission is to build a better government and stronger democracy. Located in Washington D.C., I spent five months pursuing my studies at American University while working alongside experienced staff members in the press field and renowned leaders in the federal government.Following my anticipated graduation in May 2025, I plan to pursue a career in the political sphere.
