Oversaw the day-to-day operations of the bar named Best of Boston “Best Wine Bar” 2022. Worked on the floor 5 nights a week cultivating guest relations and assisting the front of house staff during service. Responsible maintaining invoice spreadsheets daily and inventory spreadsheets monthly. Assisted in the hiring of FOH employees and facilitation of their training. Assisted in beverage ordering. Responsible for booking, arranging and overseeing restaurant events from partial to full-buyouts.

Worked in a serving capacity on a small FOH team nightly to execute service: responsible for dining room and bar setup, menu editing and printing, greeting guests, taking beverage/food orders, making cocktails, wine sales, general table maintenance, completing closing tip numbers and spreadsheets.

Oversaw the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Worked nightly on the floor cultivating guest relationships and assisting the service staff and bar staff. Created and managed the front of house schedules for the servers, hosts, back servers and management team weekly. Responsible for hiring front of house staff as well as creating and implementing training materials for new servers, hosts, and support staff.

Transitioned from a server role to the role of service manager and eventually the role of AGM directly reporting to the General Manager.

As a part of the restaurant’s opening team, I served 5-6 shifts per week in a fast-paced environment. Became extremely adept at multitasking and was an excellent team player. Continued to expand my knowledge of wine with a focus on Italian varietals.

Worked in a part-time capacity as a server for Saturday lunches and Wednesday evenings. Was encouraged on a daily basis to hand-sell a variety of wines and greatly expanded my knowledge of natural wines while doing so.

Worked at Sportello in the Seaport. Served 7-8 shifts per week. Became very adept in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Participated in weekly wine classes where I obtained a solid base of knowledge in Italian varietals.
