As Landscape BIM Manager, Caitlyn is responsible for applying quality integration of BIM and CAD technologies in all design phases, ensuring all models are compatible and BIM data is available to all project participants. In-house landscape data is modelled, managed by Caitlyn and sharable in a 3D environment and with other construction disciplines. Caitlyn oversees the use of Revit/BIM software company-wide, including the configuration, maintenance and support of all BIM installations, while also analysing and solving any Revit user issues. Consultant data is regularly imported, and clashes identified during the coordination process. Revit applied Landscape Architecture is still an emerging field and Caitlyn prides herself on finding innovative ways to apply this technology to the Lat Studios Landscape documentation process whilst still providing a high-level/well rounded project outcome. Caitlyn thoroughly understands industry BIM requirements and can produce all deliverables required, including BIM execution plans, COBie data and LOD outputs, etc.

Provided input into fee proposals, tenders and submissions for potential projects. Took part in all aspects of the design process, including, but not limited to; concept, detailed design and contract administration phases. Delivered quality hand drawn and computer generated graphic support for submissions. Prepared graphic and text based components of landscape architecture reports.A dedicated interest in streamlining the Revit and Rendering procedures within the Landscape team, with proven results across multiple projects. Changes included; creation of the specialised Landscape Revit template, specialised family and schedule creations, as well as implementing a faster Revit to Photoshop rendering procedure. For this, recommendations and recognition were received from several key leaders within the MODE network.
