I am in charge of Cutting, labeling, packaging fresh cut fruit and vegetable products at Food Lion as well as the cleanliness of the cut fruit area, prep sinks, all dishes/cutting gloves, and compost bins. I also stock for grocery and produce. Grocery stocking involves putting backstock and inventory onto the shelves, product rotation, and being able to lift and move heavy objects. Produce stocking consists of breaking down the trucks that come with inventory, putting everything away, stocking the produce area, product rotation, sales floor conditioning and cleanliness, cleaning the floors, prep sinks, wash sinks, compost bins, trash cans, bailing all the boxes and throwing away the trash, and food bank inventory for donations.
