Caitly Reynoso was born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City. She attended Wheaton College as a Posse Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2019 with a double major in Film and New Media Studies and Business and Management and a minor in Italian Studies. In 2020, Caitly transitioned from the journalism industry back into the non-profit sector. Caitly first engaged with a non-profit as a volunteer participant with Fresh Youth Initiatives (FYI) back in 2008 and since then she's always known that her purpose in life is to serve communities. Caitly began her professional career in journalism with hopes of utilizing the news platform to support and bring awareness to the people and programs sustaining our communities. Caitly was eager to once again serve our communities directly through her role as an Academic & Career Counselor for Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation's (NMIC) youth in need of educational and professional mentorship. After relocating to Dallas, TX, Caitly transitioned to the role of Coordinator for the Office of the CEO and the President with the All Stars Project, where she produced top-level donor and board meetings and important digital communications about major partnerships and organizational announcements.Caitly is looking forward to developing as a professional and servant leader, which is what led her to the next chapter of her career - joining the SMU Cox School of Business for its 2-Year MBA program, where she is studying Entrepreneurship & Strategy, as well as Management.
