Founder of Sensory Friendly Cities Inc. a non-profit that advocates for increased sensory accessibility in community spaces and increased access to sensory-friendly attractions, restaurants, and workplaces in Philadelphia and beyond.

As a Faculty Mentor for the Jefferson Center for Autism and Neurodiversity, I guide doctoral occupational therapy students in advancing their clinical and academic expertise in autism and neurodiversity. Through mentorship, I support students in developing innovative, evidence-based approaches that promote inclusion, accessibility, and meaningful engagement for neurodivergent individuals across diverse contexts. My role emphasizes fostering leadership, critical thinking, and a commitment to advancing neurodiversity-focused practices in occupational therapy. Previously, I served as an adjunct instructor for Occupational Therapy Doctorate Leadership: National & Global Perspectives.

Served as the founding Executive Director of Philadelphia-focused Neurodiversity Employment Network: a network connecting employers, academics, providers, vendors, job seekers, and other allies in the Greater Philadelphia region supporting one another to advance neuroinclusion in the workplace.

Research centered around inclusive practices to enhance participation of autistic students on campus. Completed primary data collection, investigation of best practices, and consultation of subject matter experts to understand the need for supports at Jefferson and inform data-driven recommendations for creating a more autism-inclusive campus environment. Presented data-informed and evidence-based recommendations to senior and C-level executives.

Worked with adults with a variety of physical, cognitive, and neurological disabilities in an inpatient rehabilitation setting to maximize function for discharge home or to next level of care.

Worked with autistic students aged 14-21 to customize solutions and maximize participation in school and pre-employment activities. Particular focus on executive functioning solutions for neurodivergent students.

Throughout my level I Occupational Therapy clinical experiences, I designed and implemented innovative programs to support individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on developmental disabilities and wellness. At SPIN, I led groups of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on skills like healthy meal preparation and improving sleep routines to promote overall wellness. Additionally, I collaborated with a team to develop a 10-session occupational therapy program centered on wellness strategies, ensuring impactful and measurable outcomes.In my role at Brandywine Occupational Therapy, I contributed to therapy sessions in a Montessori elementary school, supporting children in developing handwriting, emotional regulation, and motor planning skills. I also designed and implemented a visual schedule for a student, training both the teacher and student to use it effectively, enhancing engagement in classroom activities. My work extended to outpatient therapy, where I utilized equine movement to provide postural support and foster developmental progress in children with disabilities.At Children’s Specialized Hospital, I supported occupational therapy sessions using a sensory integration approach to enhance developmental skills in children aged 1-6 with diagnoses such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and behavioral challenges. These experiences reflect my dedication to promoting independence, engagement, and wellness through tailored occupational therapy interventions across diverse settings.

As a member of a consulting team comprised of 6 MBA students and 2 undergraduate students, I conducted primary and secondary research over a period of 4 months to address a key issue in a $50B Media company's current business model. We met with members from our corporate partner 4 times to present initial findings and address underlying issues. At the end of 4 month engagement, we recommended 3 actionable solutions, and presented these to executives at company headquarters. Additionally, I served as the leader of the Primary Research Team and as the Fun and Entertainment lead for the team.

As an intern for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, I worked mainly in the Unified Sports division. I prepared schools to compete in the Interscholastic Unified Sports league, completed tasks to facilitate grant reporting, and filed expense reports for program employees. In the marketing department, I worked with graphic design and video editing to create guidebooks, promotional videos, and promotional materials for the upcoming school year.

As an intern for Sagara Consulting, a behavioral economics consulting firm, I helped Dr. Sagara by conducting literature review of academic articles in behavioral science or psychology. In addition, I created questionnaires and presentation decks for corporate clients. I have customized presentations for particular branding and partnerships. To date, I have assisted with consulting projects in the health care, insurance, and leadership development fields.
