My corporate career involved efficiently aligning people and processes in operational leadership and the supply chain in industries as varied as pharmaceuticals, energy and electronics/computers, I now translate those skills to providing risk assessment and leadership on non-profit and corporate boards and occasional consulting.In February 2015, I was elected to the Board of the Directors of Delaware Valley Floral group, a leading floral wholesaler in South New Jersey. I lead the Finance, Audit and Operations committee to assess financial and operational risks.I am the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of PEC in West Philadelphia which provides emergency and transition housing for women and families and the finance and strategic planning committees of Lifecycle Women Care (formerly The Birth Center) in Bryn Mawr, PA which provides women's health services including a leading midwifery practice. To advance ballot and electoral access in Pennsylvania, I am the Chair of the Board of Pennsylvania Voice, the PA branch of the national State Voices network.Through Compass, a Washington DC based provider of consulting services to non-profit organizations, I recently completed a Board Development assignment as Project Leader for a group of volunteer consultants working with an exciting Philadelphia-based organization.I am a founding board member of Represent PA, a PAC dedicated to helping women get elected to the legislature in Harrisburg. With a friend and colleague, I have started The Leading Women Project which starts with the premise that you cannot lead others if you can’t lead yourself effectively.
