Created leadership and organizational development content to be presented to student organizations on campus. Additionally, helped to pilot Lamar University’s Leadership Certificate Program and assist in other major events put on by the office of New Student and Leadership Programs such as Lamar’s Leadership Summit.

Created welcoming and home environment for incoming freshman at Lamar University while answering any questions/doubts they may have had about attending. Additionally served as master of ceremonies for the morning programming and facilitated some movements during the cardinal connection (student organization) fair.

While working as a representative for the company, tasks included aiding in public relations, testing applications before their release, and other miscellaneous duties.

While working as a Lab Intern, I completed in vitro work with Signal Transduction Inhibitors in Leukemia using Western Blot Analysis. I also aided in processing blood samples to both prepare them for flow cytometry and gather complete blood count data.

At Two Chix Boutique, I was responsible for attending to and aiding customers needs while they were in the store. This included, but was not limited to, making recommendations on clothes, finding clothes to match the customer’s request, and checking out the customer once they were satisfied. I was also responsible for aiding in the check-in of new products and their preparation for presentation on the sales floor.

At Brick Oven Pizza, I waited on customers to fulfill their needs throughout their stay in the restaurant. This entailed delivering food and drinks to the customers as well as maintaining their needs and cleaning their table at the appropriate time. When needed, I would help in the kitchen as well as wash dishes.

At Sonic Drive-In, I fulfilled a number of duties. These duties included working both in the kitchen and the front of the store. In the kitchen, I worked as a cook. In the front of the store, I worked as the drive-thru attendant or as a carhop.
