The total turnover handled by me was Rs 350 Crs approx ($ 65 Mn approx) Work handled by me included day to day liaison with hotel financial controllers, monthly review of results of hotels, benchmarking of competition, internal benchmarking of hotels with respect to revenues, ARRs, RevPAR, City Competition, costs, ratios, PBT/ PAT. Also took care of the yearly budgeting and forecasting of hotels in my charge. Reviewed internal controls and assured the board of risks being addressed in financial and operational areas. Monitored the TPAM scores of all hotels with measures to improve the scores. Also updated the finance and operations executive directors with regard to performance and shortfalls if any. With regard to companies in my charge, I was the CFO and reported the financial and operating performance to the boards. The board members were Senior CAs, IAS officers, Hospitality Professionals and senior TAS officers. Matters of Renovation, Budgeting, Potential Acquisitions, Key Agreements were all handled by me.
