Harrell is certified in PreK3 - 12 Theater Arts in the states of New Jersey and New York. Her collegiate degrees include an MFA, an ED.S., an Honorary Ph.D., and an Ed.D. currently in progress. Harrell was force-transferred by her current school district after her former school’s name and grade levels changed. Therefore, she seeks employment elsewhere in the New York City Metropolitan area.Harrell specializes in teaching Stanislavski and Meisner Acting Techniques, emphasizing incorporating these two acting techniques in Twentieth Century Acting and Musical Theater Repertoire. She believes Twenty-first Century theater students must be exposed to Twentieth Century dramatic literature. This exposure will create a foundation for dramatic growth in the twenty-first century. She anticipates addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion in schools. Harrell desires to develop and incorporate theories and practices showcasing diverse, equitable, and inclusive casting of productions.
