I’m an aspiring full stack developer with 4 years of academic experience in Software Development, Object Oriented Design and System Architecture. I’ve worked on academic and personal projects, and have provided consultation to colleagues regarding professional projects currently in development. My most recent of projects has been a Capstone Undergraduate Project in collaboration with Phoenix Children’s Hospital which utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in an Operating Room environment.Currently, I provide armed security services for one of Washington State’s critical infrastructures. In this position I am expected to provide on-site security, and courteous customer service, as we operate at the pleasure of the community. Since joining the team in 2015, I have greatly contributed to revitalizing team morale, realigning team goals, and leading the team to perfect 5.0 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scores. I held a similar role at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma’s Provost Marshalls Office as a Military Police Officer where I policed my duty station and assisted in helping Fleet Assistance Program (FAP) Marines earn further opportunities in their positions and assume greater responsibilities.In my prior experience as a Plane Captain on the HH-1N HUEY and AH-1W COBRA platforms, I learned to work expediently and efficiently in high stress environments. As a Non-Commissioned Officer, I led & mentored junior Marines to meet and exceed the expectations of our senior leadership and command. Consequently, I was designated as the lead for Central Technical Publications Library, Foreign Object Damage/Debris and Safety programs. While managing the Safety program, I assumed the responsibilities of a Collateral Duty Safety Representative (CDSR), where I received my certifications in HAZMAT, OSHA & LEAN SIX SIGMA/CPI.Colleagues know me as a very optimistic person with strong leadership traits, with the ability to assimilate well with teams of varying disciplines and cultures. I have a BS in Software Engineering from Arizona State University and also have aspirations of achieving a MS degree with a focus in Computer Science or Machine Learning.I’m currently seeking new employment opportunities as I transition into a software development role and can be reached through this profile.
