Currently enrolled as part-time PhD student (on-line), Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado. Research has begun on developing fission or fusion microreactor powered tunnel boring machines for planetary applications. Subsurface industrial, research, cultural, recreational and habitation facilities on Moon or Mars are easier to protect from meteorites, temperature extremes, atmosphere and other hazards.Other coursework includes space law, fundamentals of space resources, space resources seminar. Other research includes the evolutionary necessity of humanity becoming a space-faring nation and developing physical economic laws for space development.At the same time, I am continuing engineering training and maintaining licensure currency in dams and civil engineering to increase proficiency, looking to increasing contributions on dam safety and development as well as potential for terraforming.
