Cal has been an essential key Fuscoe team member since 1994 and is a company Principal. As both a licensed land surveyor and a registered civil engineer, Cal possesses the unique skills of both disciplines to provide a complete set of civil technical competencies necessary to manage and produce results for complex assignments. Cal leads a design team devoted to commercial/office, retail, public works and school assignments throughout Southern California. Costco Wholesale, Inc., The Irvine Company, Burke Realty and Wynmark Development are just a few of the clients who repeatedly seek out his expertise for their projects. Cal has extensive experience with medical office/facilities projects, including Saddleback Medical Office Building, Yorba Linda-Pacific Medical Office Building; Southern California College of Optometry, Mission Hills Medical Office Building, Torrance Skilled Nursing Facility, Los Alamitos Medical Office Building, Ladera Medical Corporate Terrace and Warland Medical Office Building, among others. Cal’s background also includes multiple office and retail projects, including 30 separate office/commercial projects for Warland Investments Company; dozens of Costco Wholesale locations; Tustin Marketplace; Huntington Plaza; Camino Real Marketplace; Laguna Hills Mall; Savi Business Center and Hawthorne Business Center, among many others. Cal coordinated Fuscoe’s work with the design/build team that completed the award winning Caltrans District 7 Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles. A certified LEED® project, the new thirteen-story building achieves world-class design, sustainability, and integration of art and architecture.
