Design is more than just a discipline, it’s a way of seeing. Beyond being beautiful and solving a problem, great design also improves the quality of people’s lives. I’m an architect, designer, and baker (yep, you read that right) in pursuit of a vision of design that centers people, builds community, and sustains our world.My company, Flour Design Studio, is the vehicle I’ve created to accomplish this vision. It’s different from the norm because so am I. My design approach is centered upon people first. I place a premium on connecting, and building relationships that lead to knowing and trust. One of the best ways I’ve learned to do this is through food. Baking is a key part of my design practice because besides being a great platform for inspiration and testing out ideas, people love what I make!
