Hello! I’m Calder Nelson Scott, a motivated and creative student at Roger Williams University, where I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Marketing and Management, complemented by a minor in Design. With a strong academic foundation and a 3.6 GPA, I’m passionate about leveraging my skills in marketing, management, and design to drive impactful results.Currently, I’m honing my marketing expertise through internships. At the Regional Water Authority, I conducted market research, developed branding strategies, and created promotional materials. My role at Northeast Golf Company involved spearheading social media campaigns, managing advertisement budgets, and contributing to website development. These experiences have sharpened my abilities in strategic marketing, content creation, and campaign management.Before diving into marketing, I accumulated diverse experience at Evergreen Woods, where I served in various capacities, from Dining Staff to Wellness Director. These roles helped me develop strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of customer needs, and the ability to create meaningful engagement within a community.In addition to my professional experience, I am actively involved in the Roger Williams University Fishing Club as a Public Relations E-board Member, where I manage social media, coordinate campus events, and foster community engagement. My background as an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America further reflects my commitment to leadership, community service, and personal growth.I’m proficient in Microsoft, Adobe, and Google software suites, and have hands-on experience in website design. I’m also proud to be a NSAC District 1 Champion and an avid fisherman.I’m excited about the future and eager to apply my skills and experiences in new and challenging opportunities.
