Gained compliance and consulting experience in several tax departments including:- Transfer Pricing & International Tax Services: Identifying non arms length cross-border transactions and currency/resource flows. Assisting multi-nationals in the preparation of Schedule 25A and other supporting documentation for tax adherence- Research & Development Tax: Assessing a companies innovative and technically challenging tasks/processes to leverage tax grants and concessions available from the government. Positioning companies in the most favourable way to take advantage of such concessions and ensure their potential to claim is maximised- Private Client Services: Managing accounting and tax structures for high net worth individuals, large family groups and private enterprise. This included, feasibility studies and entity creation for asset protection, income maximisation and tax loss utilisation to best suit the clients particular circumstances.- Corporate Tax: Assistance with accounts and tax compliance which included interpretation of financial accounts and preparation of company tax returns. This involved a basic understanding of broader based tax issues, available concessions for business and direct consult with the tax authorities in the preparation of advanced tax interpretation through RAPP (Reasonably Arguable Position Papers).
