Appointed chairman of TCIA after only 3 short years of service on the board. Presided at all board and business meetings of TCIA. Worked with the President to establish the agenda for board meetings and the Annual meeting. Represented the Association at official functions and served as spokesman. Oversaw the implementation of the annual performance review process for the President. Served multiple functions on committees, reviewed strategic plan with the President, hosted and attended multiple functions throughout the year. Promoted good will within the industry and led the charge to grow the association and its partners.

Served as Sr. Director, Chairman of Audit, Finance and Nominations Committee's, and now elected Vice Chairman for the 2011-2012 term. The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), founded in 1938 as the National Arborist Association, is a 71-year-old public and professional resource on trees and arboriculture. It has more than 2,000 member companies who recognize stringent safety and performance standards and who are required to carry liability insurance.

Received Certification in 1992, Have maintained certification and credits through participation since that time.

Founder of professional tree and plant health care company. As an ISA certified arborist since 1992, I believe ongoing education is a must to keep employees current with todays standards. Our company employs Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSP), Certified Pesticide Applicators and ISA Certified Arborists. In 2007, Caldwell Tree Care became Accredited by the Tree Care Industry of America (TCIA). TCIA is the only program in the nation to help consumers find tree care companies that have been inspected and accredited based on adherence to industry standards for quality and safety, maintenance of trained, professional staff; and dedication to ethics and quality in business practices.

MALTA is Metro Atlanta and Georgia's premier landscape organization for professionals involved in the landscape design, construction, and maintenance industry. MALTA promotes professionalism, adherence to industry standards and education. MALTA serves as a consumer and industry resource for residential and commercial clients.

The Roswell Design Review Board works to assure that development plans comply with community design and development policies established by the City of Roswell in its Comprehensive Plan and applicable design guidelines. The DRB is responsible for Initial Design Review and Final Design Review for all development within its jurisdiction with the exception of detached, fee simple and single-family residences. Served as board member, Chairman, and vice chairman during tenure on the board.

Sold tree and plant health care services citywide. Performed arborist consultations and tree preservation on construction sites.

Responsible for citywide commercial sales of lawn, tree, and shrub care.
