With thanks to classes and hands on experience opportunities, I continue to develop my critical thinking, strategic planning, adaptability, and leadership skills. I participate in activities designed to foster teamwork under stress while achieving a goal. I will carry this growing skillset into my future military career and workplace environments.

Our research group specializes in single crystal growth. At this position, I aided researchers in the crystal growing process. As of August 22nd we finished our ScV6Sn6 Lu doped series and have published a research paper.

Managing at Crestwood Hills has been an extremely rewarding job. After learning the ins and outs of the pool, I was promoted to manage the Guards and handle financial transactions. Everyday at work provides a new opportunity to practice my service leadership and administrative skills.

I worked at Mikata Japanese Grill throughout my senior year in highschool. Mikata is a Sole Proprietorship, and as such, each team member must step up and work together to make the restaurant run as efficiently as possible. I’ve learned time management under stress. I take customer calls and after turning in the ticket, I evaluate each meal before packing and pricing them. Assigning priority and organizing tasks efficiently was crucial to my success at my position.

I have lifeguarded for Crestwood Hills in the summers of 2017 through 2019. Lifeguarding was an amazing first work experience. Every day there was something new to do, from fixing a wheelbarrow to vacuuming the bottom of the pool. My time as a lifeguard has taught me resourcefulness, and to work in a team under stress. For the 2019 season I was promoted to head guard.
