One of my favorite jobs, while I was working in college, was for a small real estate investment firm. With a crew of 10 other college students, we would start with a dilapidated house, rip out the interior, repair and replace what we took out and bring the house into turn-key condition. I loved the job because we were able to take something that was lacking, develop it and then show off its finished product.I carry that same enjoyment over into my current position. I don't have dilapidated students, but I do have students who may be lacking in an area. I have the privilege of developing an understanding of many life lessons. I then get to see these students pursue their dreams, knowing that I had a small part in getting them there.I have a passion for sports; San Francisco 49ers, University of Michigan and LA Lakers to be specific. I carry that passion into coaching a boy's varsity basketball team. Nothing like watching a young man who struggled to dribble well develop into a floor general.As much as I love my job, my family is always priority number one. Time with my wife is priceless. Any other free time is spent with my three boys.
