Throughout my different summer jobs I have developed an intense interest in job satisfaction. I am interested in the ways it effects the quality of life of the employee, as well as the financial benefits for an organization that has high job satisfaction through their company. I feel that showing appreciation and creating an environment that fosters commitment and a sense of pride will dramatically increase engagement in the workplace. This is why I am studying business at the University of Regina. I want to enter the business world with a major in marketing, and use the knowledge of a marketer to increase customer experience through the increase in job satisfaction.
