An Occupational Therapy student and experienced personal caregiver passionate about making the world more accessible for people with disabilities. In my roles as a caregiver, I have adapted quickly to the needs of my clients, creatively problem-solved to best meet their needs, and provided them with new activities to fill their days. I have also created an award-winning digital music experience program for people with disabilities, and I have spent two consecutive summers volunteering in some capacity at the Philip Hayden Foundation in Tianjin, China, where I have helped with community therapy outreach. Additionally, I run a YouTube channel called Classy Whale centered around public transportation, and I hope to integrate themes of accessibility into my content in the near future. I'm currently hoping to expand my skills by studying Occupational Therapy, allowing myself to better reach this population.
