My name is Caleb Brooks. I graduated from Troy University in December of 2018 and am an up-and-coming Sports Broadcaster. I can call many different sports and have great knowledge in almost all sports. The sports I know the best are Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Hockey, Mixed Martial Arts, Golf and Volleyball. I’m looking for any opportunities to call games and improve my skills and learn more about the business. I love good conversations with people who know more than me and can teach me things and I’m open to learning to do new things in this field of work as well. I feel like I have great communication skills and am a very good people’s person. 2 years ago I was offered the opportunity to be the Head Baseball Coach at Coosa Valley Academy in Harpersville. We are a 1A school and have compiled a record of 22-6 against 1A teams in 2 seasons and have made 2 semifinal appearances in the AISA playoffs. I was offered the Head Coach Position at Pike Road High School in August 2024. Pike Road is now a 6A program in the AHSAA. I also am a teacher teaching Career Prep. I believe my experience as a Coach as well as a play-by-play broadcaster is different than most who do play-by-play and allow me to see things and describe them in a different way due to my knowledge of baseball as a coach.
