I started my engineering career at Basin Electric Power Cooperative in July of 2008 and my primary responsibilites within the engineering department were to increase overall performance and reliability of the plant. My duties involved routine performance testing and monitoring as well as life assessment analysis. While at Basin I was promoted to level II (5/22/2011).I then took a role as an Energy/Project Engineer for DAK Americas at their Cedar Creek site in Fayetteville, NC.In this role I was responsible for managing the monthly utility billing process, providing technical support to the site services operations, leading the site’s overall energy reduction program, identifying and owning some of the energy reduction projects, and benchmarking site energy competitiveness.I passed the PE Exam in April '14 for licensure in the state of North Carolina.I started as a Production Supervisor at Standard Steel in Burnham, Pennsylvania in 2014, and supervised a shift of 24+ employees in the production of railroad car wheels. My goal was to increase production efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.I moved into the engineering department as a wheel and die design engineer in 2016, then moved into my current position as Closed Die Forge Shop Engineer/Project Manager in 2017 where I was responsible for the management of all equipment in the wheel forging process from sawing to heat treating, including saws, furnaces, heavy presses, robots, cranes and machining equipment.In October 2021 I moved into my current role taking over as Project Manager for the new radial axle forging machine project.I am a licensed PE in the state of Pennsylvania. Inactive license in the state of North Carolina.
