Hired on with International Paper in 2009. I’ve worked my way up the line of progression to the top job of Pulp Mill Operator. I was pulled out of line and made safety coordinator for my department where I helped create and standardize lockouts for my department. I worked that for a year and then moved into a Front Line Leader role that I worked for 2 years. I’ve worked as a fill in Front Line Leader for the past 5 years. Vast majority of my time the last 2 years has been working as a assistant Area Process Manager and filling in as the Area Process Manger at times. 1 year ago I was also named as the Department Learning Leader for the pulp mill where I’ve developed the curriculum and training material for the pulp mill. During this year I still continued with my assistant Area Process Manager task and continued to fill in as Area Process Manager regularly.
