As a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA), I am actively involved in conducting community needs assessments to explore migrant health requirements in the Rio Grande Valley. Additionally, I provide support for ongoing mixed-methods projects pertaining to immigration policy and the mental health of Latinx youth. My responsibilities include data entry, bioimpedance assessments, and conducting quantitative statistical analyses to evaluate therapy outcomes.

As a Remote Virtual Medical Scribe specializing in Pediatric Orthopedics, I connect to the client's Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system at the beginning of each shift. During live patient encounters, I meticulously listen and document in real-time within the EMR (Epic), creating precise, comprehensive, and billable progress notes for each patient interaction. My role ensures the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation, supporting efficient and effective patient care.
