Throughout my working career, I have always been in the position where I was the first contact with customers, vendors, executives, and employees. Additionally now, I have been working in the nonprofit sector which has allowed me to gain a new perspective on business. My desire to be around and communicate with others stems from several sources. One of them being my involvement and accomplishments with The Boy Scouts of America. In order to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout, I developed and honed networking skills that have greatly influenced my professional life. Even more recently I have been able to improve my communication skills by being the food safety chair at Three Square Food Bank. Having opportunities to run large volunteer groups, which could be upwards of 150 individuals at a time, has given me an opportunity to increase my managerial skills. Imagine having to train new employees every day, and that is what I do.
