I am passionate, eager to learn, and consistently attempting to improve quality of life and work. I possess degrees in Ecotourism and Adventure travel as well as Business Management, and am now pursuing nursing. I have a history in teaching as well as public speaking. I also work at and have experience in a direct care facility. I am considered knowledgeable, caring, and hardworking by my peers, employers, students, and patients of whom I contact. I would be a great team member because I see every position held as an opportunity to advance my personal and career life. Therefore I hope to join an institution, which will aid in the development of my technical skill and knowledge base. Throughout my career as an employee and a student I have grown both cognitively and emotionally. I have held a few managerial positions, which taught me to use time wisely and also prioritize and organize tasks appropriately. While studying abroad in Andros Bahamas I experienced new exotic landscapes and cultures, this was an expansive experiences for me, but I also learned how little some live with along with the accompanying health issues, this became clear while completing fluoride treatments on the teeth of Androsian public school children. I now hope to one-day aide in the development of those in impoverished nations. As an outdoor educator I have found a passion for teaching and aiding in the development of others. Through my growth as an individual, I believe I will serve as a valuable asset as a caregiver, teacher, coordinator, and advocate to those of whom I contact.
