Compared to KFC grilld holds up astoundingly well, it was already taught me so much about hospitality and about becoming a better person, i currently am learning grill and id love to say im killin’ it, its great to see so many people here enthusiastic about their time here, providing great food and even better service.

I did take a break to recoup myself and try find what i wanted to do between Patron and Jayco but again i needed money so i did move into labouring. I continued to strengthen my knowledge jn the trade/labour area working with tools daily by manufacturing caravans to perfection under a microscope at Jayco. Although the work wasnt tough or demanding it wasnt the right environment for me to pursue a career. Towards the end of my job at jayco i took a lot of time off due to my mother suffering a stroke and i had to leave to become her primary caretaker. Despite this i dont have anything negative to actually speak on about Jayco.

Leaving kfc after graduation for an apprenticeship was my next step, i took it and found i didnt enjoy the work environment trades offered. Although i did need a job i learnt over my time the correct way to paint, use tool and the importance of precision cutting especially on worksites.

Working here for just shy of 2 years i learnt a lot about what a company should and should not do/be as a hospitality host. Carrum downs kfc gave me 2 years as a back of house cook requiring me to be well versed in OHS and food safety standards. As well as working very well under stress and abuse (one of the things that sadly you have to live with in this area)

This was my first job, i learnt the high importance of rotating stock that i still use to this day. At IGA i was there for a short 6 months before changing to kfc, however in that time i had been trained in some produce, till, and stacking shelves on the floor, iga was a very quiet and low customer job but regardless I definitely enjoyed it.
