I work as an engineer for Holy Cross Energy. During the summers of 2018 and 2019, I interned at two different electrical utilities and energy providers in Colorado. At those internships, I worked on several design projects, many of which were accompanied by technical reports and operations manuals. I have found through those experiences that I am very passionate about worker safety, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.I am ardent about the energy sector and have taken steps to gain more experience, along with the internships previously mentioned, by taking engineering elective courses like mechanical vibrations and electrical power engineering and beginning a career in the energy sector after graduating with a B.S. in mechanical engineering in May 2020.
