Caleb Fink is the Production Automation Engineer with the California Strawberry Commission. He is currently the project lead on optimizing the design of California strawberry sprayers. He started in July 2018 after graduating from Cal Poly SLO with an MS degree in Agriculture with specialization in BioResource and Ag Systems. During his graduate degree he gained experience in syllabus and curriculum development, project management, research and development, microcontroller and computer programming, and pcb design. He also graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 2014 with his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, fully supports the Cal Poly Learn By Doing philosophy and believes that if a person cannot do a task themselves, then they cannot automate it. On the weekends he can be found hiking, mountain biking, building, designing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. He is in the pursuit to one day become an instructor at a community college.
