Responsible for leading the technical aspects of UQ Space, a student-led team competing in rocketry and rover competitions. I oversee all of our projects, assisting and mentoring project leads and technical sub-team leads in their roles. I ensure that our systems engineering process is being implemented, that progress is being made, and that all possible resources are made available.As a member of the Board of Directors, I participate in the management of the team, including oversight and strategy development.

As the lead payload engineer for UQ Space I lead a team of talented students to design, build, test and implement payloads for all rockets launched by the team. The payloads are either scientific in nature, through collaborations with university-based research groups or independent experiments conducted by the team, or to meet competition criteria in the Australian Universities Rocket Competition and Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition.

In this role I worked on a team of students to design and manufacture payloads to be launched with UQ Space's competition rockets to compete in the Australian Universities Rocket Competition (AURC), Spaceport America Cup (SPAC), and the Australian Rover Challenge (ARCh).I also worked on the development on Project Asteria, UQ Space's attempt at a space shot (altitude of 105km).
