I am a present Year 3 student in the Diploma of Law and Management at Temasek Polytechnic. As someone who is passionate about the law and its implications for our current society, I am a firm believer that learning occurs in all aspects of life and that it is vital to grab chances and learning experiences as they arise. My primary motivation for studying law is to obtain a better understanding of how our society is controlled. I feel that the law is what keeps us from living barbaric lives, and I want to learn more about the reasons and concepts underlying it so that I can better appreciate its role in shaping society and supporting justice.I've had various leadership positions ranging from clubs and organisations to uniform groups, and I've met people from all walks of life. Furthermore, holding those positions taught me the soft skills of effective communication and critical thinking. In my spare time, I enjoy reading nonfiction books to challenge my intellect, as well as participating in a variety of student-led initiatives and events to broaden my horizons and meet new people from various schools and courses.
