I'm a senior mechanical engineering student at Penn State University. I've had two unique internship opportunities that enabled me to incorporate what I learned in the classroom into the fields of fiber optics and pipelines. These internships increased my understanding of the relationships between engineers who design the work and subcontractors who perform the work under supervision. I have learned the impact of teamwork, industry experience, and practical knowledge when applied to real world problems.In my free time I enjoy diagnosing and working on my 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ. I hate spending money replacing parts, but I love getting my hands dirty and figuring out what's wrong, what happened and fixing the problem. I have recently replaced the TPS, starter and battery while regularly servicing the oil and replacing the oil filter.
