Developing and maintaining APM functionality for open-source proxies and Kubernetes network management facilities as part of Datadog's APM Integrations team.The team was 100% remote since its inception, with other team members primarily in the USA and Europe. Operating from New Zealand, this had some timezone challenges to manage!Due to this being a contribution to open-source projects maintained by other companies and communities, development had to be consistently of the highest quality, and thoroughly tested for quality and performance.When the team expanded, I was responsible for training new team members on a methodical mindset in addition to the codebase that we maintained.
