I am currently a student at Brigham Young University studying Information Systems, with a passion for data analytics and machine learning. I have always loved seeing ways technology can be utilized to solve problems and create a better future for everyone, and want to be able to make an impact everywhere I go. I am a big believer in creating and fostering a culture of growth and learning because I believe that everyone can lift where they stand make our world a better place, a little bit at a time. I am currently working at Program Granite, working heavily with SQL using the Oracle SQL Developer application to transition BYU's system to a new ERP. My work here has given me experience extracting, transforming, and loading data onto a new database while maintaining integrity and cleanliness of the data. In addition to Program Granite, many of the other experiences and jobs in my life have helped me become great at customer service and have helped teach me how to always have empathy for others. My studies at BYU, while not yet finished, have also shown me the basics to various aspects of technology that I hope to deepen my understanding in. Some of the things I have learned include SQL, Python, Javascript, C++, and HTML, along with problem solving and analytical tools. I am studying to get my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Information Systems and while achieving this goal, I want to continue to hone my skills.
