My area of research is international human rights law and international criminal law with a particular focus on the accused's procedural rights before the international criminal courts and tribunals. My thesis focuses on the accused's right to be present at trial in international criminal law and how that right has changed since the establishment of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
